Your question, our answer
Below are the questions our guests ask most often. Can't find yours? Just call or e-mail us — we usually reply within a day.
How do I book a house?
On the Availability & booking page you choose a house and a free arrival Saturday, and send the form. That is a request without obligation — you do not pay anything at that moment and nothing is fixed yet.
Frank and Marjon review your request personally and confirm availability and the total price by e-mail, usually within 24 hours. Only after that confirmation is your week definitively reserved.
Can I book just a few nights?
No, we rent out per full week, from Saturday to Saturday. You can book several consecutive weeks — up to four weeks through the form. Would you like to stay longer? Please get in touch.
What time can I arrive, and when do I have to leave?
On your arrival Saturday you are welcome from 2 p.m. On your departure Saturday we ask you to leave the house before 10 a.m., so we can prepare it calmly for the next guests.
What exactly does a stay cost?
The rent starts at € 70 per night and depends on the season. On top of that:
- Tourist tax: € 2.60 per person per night
- Cleaning: € 75 one-off per stay
- Dog: € 7 per dog per night
On the booking page you see the full cost overview as soon as you pick a week and the number of guests. We confirm the final total price by e-mail.
How many people can stay in the houses?
Both houses sleep up to 5 people. There is one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with a bunk bed for three.
What is the difference between Helmgras and Duinzand?
The houses are very similar: both detached, for five people, with the same facilities and the same short walk to the beach.
- Helmgras — 43 m², luxurious and characterful.
- Duinzand — 47 m², slightly more spacious, with a cot and high chair available.
Travelling with a baby or toddler? Then Duinzand is the most practical choice.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are very welcome. You may bring up to two dogs; the surcharge is € 7 per dog per night. Please mention how many dogs you are bringing in your request, so we can take that into account.
Is bed linen provided?
Yes, bed linen is ready for you in both houses — so there is no need to bring duvet covers and sheets.
Is there wifi and television?
Both houses have free wifi and cable television.
Where can I park?
Each house comes with its own parking space. No need to look for a spot in the village.
What is in the kitchen?
The kitchen is fully equipped: a four-burner gas hob, a combination microwave, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and an electric kettle. You can cook just like you would at home.
Can I sit outside or use a barbecue?
Yes. Both houses have a fenced private terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. Handy if you are bringing children or a dog: the terrace is fully enclosed.
How far is the beach and are the dunes nearby?
The beach is a hundred steps away — a few minutes on foot. The dunes start just as close. There is a dune pass waiting in the house for the dune area, and you are welcome to use the beach cart for your beach gear.
Can I come with a baby or small child?
Certainly. Duinzand has a cot and a high chair ready. Coming with a baby but would you prefer Helmgras? Add a note to your request and we will see what we can arrange for you.
